How we choose our stories
We do not guess. Every week we look at what people are really searching for and asking, including the searches readers type into our own search box, and we pick the questions that deserve a better answer than the ones already out there. Topics where a wrong answer could hurt someone, such as health, money and the law, are handled with extra care and only after the site has earned the trust to cover them.
How a story is made
Our stories are researched and drafted with the help of artificial intelligence (Claude, made by Anthropic) using live web research, and they follow the rules on our editorial policy page. We are open about this because you should know how what you read was made. The stories link to the sources they used so you can check them yourself, and we do not claim to have tested products or visited places that we have not.
Photos
Cover photos come from free photo libraries such as Unsplash, Wikimedia Commons and Openverse. The photographer is credited under every story.
